- Last Saturday, #LIRedCross CEO Jose Dominguez represented #RedCrossNY at the 3rd annual Black Authors Festival.
- We shared the #GOATed story of Alexis and the #SoundTheAlarm campaign, installing 222 smoke alarms and protecting 69 households from home fires.
- Last Thursday, Patch and the Greenwich Sentinel reported on the #MNYNRedCross holding its Battle of the Clubs blood donation challenge in Greenwich, CT.
- On International Lifeguard Appreciation Day, we celebrated the amazing story of Brian Maloney and Thomas Turchiano using their #RedCross lifeguard training to help save a life.
- Last week, Rockland Times, Mid-Hudson News, and the Rockland Daily reported on Rockland County holding its Five Towns Challenge, hosted by State Senator Bill Weber, to see which town could collect the most blood donations and have the most first-time donors.
- On Monday, we joined The Today Show show as they featured a segment about the importance of blood donations – with host Craig Melvin making a donation live on the air.
- State Senator Alex Weik shared the dangers of home fires, and urged people to get a free smoke alarm with the #HomeFireCampaign
