- Our Regional CEO, Doreen Howe, attended a private sector roundtable hosted by the IFRC on sustainability, building community resilience, local reach, and keeping client impact central to our work.
- The IFRC also hosted us earlier at the #UNGA80 to have conversations with Red Cross societies around the world on our shared commitments to our collective mission.
- Last week, our team held meetings with White Plains Mayor Thomas Roach and New York State Assembly member, Clare Valdez, around community resilience and mobilization and how we can collaborate on vital service delivery.
- Last Tuesday, the Greenwich Sentinel published Stephanie Dunn Ashley’s latest column about how her younger brother’s battle with childhood leukemia inspires her to donate blood often.
- We posted this video short highlighting the Red Cross helping 11 adults and 4 children after a fire on Bronx Park East in the Allerton neighborhood of the Bronx back in August.
