Red Cross responders helping residents after Bronx fire.

From Apr 6-12, the Red Cross in Greater New York provided emergency assistance to 210 adults and 73 children following 43 local disasters. Here are some highlights from last week and a preview of upcoming activities. (See below)

• Over the weekend, News12 reported on the #LIRedCross helping 4 families after a fire on Baldwin Path in Deer Park (Suffolk County).
• News12 also reported on the Red Cross helping one family after a fire on Claremont Pkwy in the Bronx on Sunday.
• NBC4 and PIX11 reported on the Red Cross helping 8 families after a fire on Leland Ave in the Bronx.
• On Friday, News12, LI Herald, Daily Voice and Newsday reported on the #LIRedCross helping residents after a fire on Peconic Ave in Seaford (Nassau County).
