- On Saturday, 5,000 volunteers from all over Long Island, showed up in the rain to honor all the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. Military. The #LIRedCRoss continues to show up and offer refreshments, coffee, snacks, and flags at Calverton National Cemetery.
- A little rain did not stop our team from participating in Memorial Day Weekend celebration at the Intrepid Museum in recognition of the men and women in uniform who have served our country.

- Over the weekend, Red Cross disaster response teams canvassed Hollis (Queens) to identify residents who needed assistance and assisted with muck-and-gut clean-up work following severe flooding.
